Atletico Madrid and Internazionale are interested in signing West Brom striker Salomon Rondon, Sky Sports News understands.

West Ham are also keen on the Venezuelan striker, who played under new manager Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga.

But the Hammers will face competition from abroad for a player who has a £16m release clause in his WBA contract following their relegation.

Chelsea also made an inquiry about Rondon in the January transfer window as part of a wide search for a big, strong centre-forward - they ended up signing Olivier Giroud from Arsenal.

Rondon joined West Brom from Zenit St Petersburg for £12m in 2015 and has scored 28 goals in 102 appearances for the club in all competitions.
