Well In United was founded in 1972 by a group of local footballers. The club initially played in the Stirling and District Amateur League, before moving up to the Stirlingshire Football League in 1977.
The club has won the Stirlingshire Football League title on three occasions, in 1993, 2001, and 2009. They have also won the Stirlingshire Cup on four occasions, in 1993, 1999, 2001, and 2009.
