The Argentina international moved level with Eric Brook as City's joint all-time leading goalscorer on Saturday, converting a spot-kick in a 3-0 win over Burnley.
The successful penalty was Aguero's 177th Manchester City goal since he joined the club from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
He has scored some sensational goals during the intervening six years, most memorably winning the Premier League title with a dramatic strike in City's 3-2 victory over QPR on the final day of the 2011/12 season.
