The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony will be held in London on Monday, October 23 - who's in line for the main awards?
FIFA introduced the 'Best Football Awards' last season after splitting with France Football magazine, which meant they had to end their association with the Ballon d'Or award.
Cristiano Ronaldo won the inaugural top award last year, ahead of Lionel Messi with Atletico's Antoine Griezmann in third.
There are eight prizes up for grabs at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2016, with best men's and women's prizes for players and coaches as well as the Goalkeeper Award, the FIFA Puskas Award for the goal of the year, The FIFA Fan Award and the FIFA Fifpro World11 award.
The winner will be decided by a jury of club and international coaches, media representatives and fans with the winner crowned at the London Palladium on October 23.
The men's and women's player and coach awards will be decided by a two-part process in a 50-50 split.
The captains and head coaches of all the world's national teams count for 50 per cent of the result and the other 50 per cent will be made up votes from 200 football journalists and an online public ballot.
So, this means you have a chance to influence the voting as 25 per cent of the results will be decided by football fans. You can make your vote (one per person) via the FIFA website.
The shortlists were whittled down to three per award in September:
Best Fifa Men's Player: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), Neymar (Barcelona/PSG)
Best Fifa Women's Player: Deyna Castellanos (Santa Clarita Blue Heat/Florida State Seminoles), Carli Lloyd (Houston Dash/Manchester City Women), Lieke Martens (Barcelona Femeni)
Best Fifa Men's Coach: Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus), Antonio Conte (Chelsea), Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid)
Best Fifa Women's Coach: Nils Nielsen (Danish national team), Gerard Precheur (Olympique Lyonnais Feminin), Sarina Wiegman (Netherlands national team)
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Keylor Navas (Real Madrid), Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
The Fifa FIFPro World11 is decided by the players, for the players - in the same format as the PFA Team of the Year is deliberated in this country at the end of every season.
It involves votes from more than 25,000 professional footballers from over 75 different countries and they each select one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.
The 55-man shortlist was revealed at the start of September and the final FIFA FIFPro World11 will be announced at the awards ceremony.
