Highlights of the fourth round Scottish Cup clash at Ibrox between Rangers and Motherwell.

Kenny Miller fired two late goals as Rangers secured a 2-1 win over Motherwell to book their place in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup, at Ibrox on Saturday.

The veteran striker netted twice during the last 10 minutes, after Motherwell had taken a shock lead, having been outplayed for more than an hour.

With 16 minutes remaining, the visitors broke the deadlock when, from Chris Canning's teasing cross, Louis Moult's powerful header from seven yards gave goalkeeper Wes Foderingham no chance.

But Rangers regained their composure to level matters on 84 minutes with a great header of their own, as the 37-year-old Miller leapt forward to nod home Martyn Waghorn's cross.

Four minutes later the hosts struck again when Emerson Hyndman took advantage of a Motherwell mistake to slip the ball through to Miller, who sprinted into the box before firing the ball past keeper Craig Samson.

With 93 minutes on the clock, Moult sliced wide as Well chased an equaliser of their own but to no avail, allowing Rangers to book their spot in the last 16.

However, the exciting finale to the match was in complete contrast to what had happened during the opening 70 minutes.

Lee Wallace had the first real effort of the game after six minutes, but his shot was deflected wide of the left post.

The closest Rangers were to scoring before the break came via Miller whose header from Andy Halliday's free-kick, in the 20th minute, clipped the top of the bar.

The hosts were aggrieved on 35 when referee Craig Thomson rejected a penalty appeal after Michael O'Halloran went down after a challenge by Stevie Hammell.

And in a rare venture forward by Motherwell, Joe Chalmers dragged a weak shot wide five minutes before the break.

Rangers continued to control possession in the second half but were unable to break down Mark McGhee's men.

The visitors finally had a shot on target in the 65th minute but Scott McDonald's curler from outside the box was comfortably dealt with by Foderingham.

Barrie McKay and Josh Windass flashed efforts wide for Rangers before Motherwell stunned the home crowd as Moult leapt highest to score against the run of play.

After Miller had levelled matters, Foderingham made a brace of quickfire saves to deny the more confident visitors, first pushing away Carl McHugh's shot and then preventing McDonald from lashing in the rebound.

But Miller was to strike again in the 88th minute, as last season's beaten finalists kept alive their hopes of securing their first Scottish Cup success in eight years.
