Danilo Saveljic (born 31 December 1985 in Kotor, Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Montenegrin-born Slovenian football midfielder. Saveljic's parents, Petar from Kotor, Montenegro and mother Olivera from Koper Slovenia. Saveljic's career began at the age of 5, when he started playing for FK Bokelj Kotor , a small football club in Montenegro. As he was a talented player, he was soon transferred first to FK Budu?nost Podgorica at the age 11 , then to NK Olimpija Ljubljana at the age of 15. By the second season he was the third best striker in Slovenian junior league history, scoring 36 goals for his home team. Savelji? has been part of the Slovenian national Under-21 football team. At the age of 17 he was transferred to NK Rijeka for ? 350.000 then to Triestina for ? 760.000 - youngest Slovenian player in Serie B at the age of 18 then to AE Larissa for ? 1.5 million, then to Kayserispor / Diyarbak?rspor in Diyarbak?r for ? 6.5million. In 2006, he was transferred to the Turkish club of Diyarbak?rspor in the Türk Telekom League A, Ligue 2 then to Kerkyra FC loan after that he return in his main club in Turkey. In the season 2007 he played for Sliema Wanderers fc Malta football club. Free transfer. On January 4. 2008 loan to Boluspor free loan.
